Easy was a great horse. If you listened carefully, he would tell you so.
Easy was rescued from a farm where he had lost most of his hair, was very under weight, and had bug bites all over him.
Barbara worked tirelessly to get him back into shape and give him all of the love he deserved. The children loved him,
and he was a favorite at all of the events. He lessoned with the children tirelessly, and at dinner time he galloped to his
stall with the vigor of a race horse.
Kirk fell in love with this horse once he realized how much Easy showed his compassion for saving him from a certain
fate. Just to look in his eyes and see how much he appreciated everything we did for him was enough to make you wonder; "who's
teaching who?"
His years finally caught up with him and he came in to the barn and let Barbara know he was ready. All of the horses
could be heard saying goodbye as he laid down in his stall and sighed his last thank you.
We will miss you Easy, but we know that you are running free in God's Pasture...
